Alpha Rev

I came across this alternative rock band about a month ago, possibly through noisetrade.  Their sound seemed familiar, even though I had never come across them before.  I'd describe their style as melodic, slightly poppy rock music.  The tunes remind me of Mat Kearney pretty strongly, although the lead singer's voice actually sounds a bit like David Bazan.  Here's a music video of one of their better songs (their videos are all a bit weird and jumpy).  This is another good one.  I like the balance of the guitars and the percussion, and the melodies are all pretty powerful.  Apparently they released a new album in 2013, but I haven't listened to it yet.  They are worth checking out if you like good alternative rock music.
